Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Chelsea Plumbing & Heating Co. is Gas Safe registered under number 952303. Every gas job is carried out and signed off by a Gas Safe engineer — you can verify us on the Gas Safe Register at any time.
What guarantee do you offer on your work?
All installations and repairs come with a 12-month workmanship guarantee covering parts and labour. New boiler installations also carry the manufacturer's warranty — typically 7 to 10 years depending on the model.
How much do you charge?
Our standard rate is £90 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Out-of-hours cover is £150 per hour. Fixed-price options are available for standard jobs and full installs so you know the number before we start. We are not currently VAT registered.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover Greater London and the surrounding Home Counties — including Kent, Surrey, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Middlesex and West Sussex.
Do you handle landlord gas safety certificates?
Yes. We issue Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12) for private landlords and letting agents, usually same-day where access allows.
How do I get a quote?
Call 07801 550790 or send a message via our contact page. Estimates are free. For installations we'll arrange an estimate, either remotely or on-site depending on the job.
Is there a call-out fee?
No separate call-out fee — the standard hourly rate applies (£90 per hour Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, £150 per hour out of hours). Payment is by card or bank transfer.
Do you offer finance on boiler installations?
Not at present. Installations are paid by card or bank transfer against a written fixed-price estimate.
Who actually carries out the work?
Ian Fisher. Chelsea Plumbing & Heating Co. is an owner-operated business, so the engineer who quotes the job is the engineer who does it and returns under the guarantee.
